Pets are companions you can summon to aid in your quest of amassing hoards of mana. Just like classes, you need to meet certain requirements to unlock them, but unlike classes, you can change your pet in the middle of the run, though doing so will reset all the experience of your current pet. Thus every time you choose a new pet it starts at level 1.

Pets have two kinds of requirements:

• An unlock requirement, that needs to be met the first time this pet is selected.
• A selection requirement, that needs to be met every time this pet is selected (including the first time).
